提tí摩mó太tài前qián書shū第dì六liù 章zhāng	1 Timothy 6
1 凡fán在zài 軛è 下xià作zuò 僕pú人rén 的de 、 當dāng 以yǐ自zì 己jǐ 主zhǔ人rén 配pèi 受shòu 十shí分fēn 的de 恭gōng敬jìng 、 免miǎn得dé 神shén 的de 名míng 和hé 道dào理lǐ 、 被bèi 人rén 褻xiè瀆dú 。	1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.
2 僕pú人rén 有yǒu 信xìn道dào 的de 主zhǔ人rén 、 不bù可kě 因yīn為wèi 與yú 他tā 是shì 弟dì兄xiōng 就jiù 輕qīng看kàn 他tā ． 更gèng要yào 加jiā意yì 服fú事shì 他tā ． 因yīn為wèi 得dé 服fú事shì 之zhī 益yì處chù 的de 、 是shì 信xìn道dào 蒙méng愛ài 的de 。 你nǐ 要yào 以yǐ此cǐ 教jiào訓xun 人rén 、 勸quàn勉miǎn 人rén 。	2 And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
3 若ruò有yǒu 人rén 傳chuán 異yì教jiào 、 不bù服fú從cóng 我wǒ們men 主zhǔ 耶yē穌sū基jī督dū 純chún正zhèng 的de話huà 、 與yú 那nà 合hé乎hū 敬jìng 虔qián 的de 道dào理lǐ ．	3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4 他tā 是shì 自zì高gāo自zì大dà 、 一yī無wú所suǒ知zhī 、 專zhuān 好hǎo問wèn 難nán 、 爭zhēng辯biàn 言yán詞cí 、 從cóng此cǐ 就jiù 生shēng出chū 嫉jí妒dù 、 分fēn 爭zhēng 、 毀huǐ謗bàng 、 妄wàng 疑yí 、	4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
5 並bìng 那nà 壞huài了le 心xīn術shù 、 失shī喪sàng 真zhēn理lǐ 之zhī 人rén 的de 爭zhēng 競jìng 。 他tā們men 以yǐ 敬jìng 虔qián 為wèi 得dé利lì 的de 門mén路lù ．	5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
6 然rán而ér 敬jìng 虔qián 加jiā上shàng 知zhī足zú 的de 心xīn 便biàn是shì 大dà利lì 了le ．	6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 因yīn為wèi 我wǒ們men 沒méi有yǒu 帶dài 甚shén麼me 到dào 世shì上shàng 來lái 、 也yě 不bù能néng 帶dài 甚shén麼me 去qù ．	7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 只zhǐ 要yào 有yǒu 衣yī 有yǒu 食shí 、 就jiù 當dāng 知zhī足zú 。	8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
9 但dàn 那nà些xiē 想xiǎng要yào 發fā財cái 的de 人rén 、 就jiù 陷xiàn 在zài 迷mí惑huò 、 落luò在zài 網wǎng羅luó 、 和hé 許xǔ多duō 無wú知zhī 有yǒu害hài的de 私sī 慾yù 裡lǐ 、 叫jiào 人rén 沉chén 在zài 敗bài壞huài 和hé 滅miè亡wáng 中zhōng 。	9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 貪tān財cái 是shì 萬wàn惡è 之zhī 根gēn ． 有yǒu人rén 貪tān戀liàn 錢qián財cái 、 就jiù 被bèi 引yǐn誘yòu 離lí了le 真zhēn 道dào 、 用yòng 許xǔ多duō 愁chóu苦kǔ 把bǎ 自zì己jǐ 刺cì透tòu 了le 。	10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 但dàn 你nǐ 這zhè 屬shǔ 神shén 的de 人rén 、 要yào 逃táo避bì 這zhè些xie 事shì 、 追zhuī求qiú 公gōng 義yì 、 敬jìng 虔qián 、 信xìn心xīn 、 愛ài心xīn 、 忍rěn耐nài 、 溫wēn柔róu 。	11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 你nǐ 要yào 為wèi真zhēn 道dào 打dǎ 那nà 美měi好hǎo 的de 仗zhàng 、 持chí 定dìng 永yǒng生shēng ． 你nǐ 為wèi此cǐ 被bèi 召zhào ． 也yě 在zài 許xǔ多duō 見jiàn證zhèng人rén 面miàn前qián 、 已yǐ經jīng 作zuò了le 那nà 美měi好hǎo 的de 見jiàn證zhèng 。	12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
13 我wǒ 在zài 叫jiào 萬wàn物wù 生shēng活huó 的de 神shén 面miàn前qián 、 並bìng 在zài 向xiàng 本běn 丟diū 彼bǐ 拉lā多duō 作zuò過guò 那nà 美měi好hǎo 見jiàn證zhèng 的de 基jī督dū 耶yē穌sū 面miàn前qián 囑zhǔ咐fù 你nǐ 、	13 I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14 要yào 守shǒu 這zhè 命mìng令lìng 、 毫háo不bú 玷diàn污wū 、 無wú可kě指zhǐ責zé 、 直zhí到dào 我wǒ們men 的de 主zhǔ 耶yē穌sū基jī督dū 顯xiǎn現xiàn ．	14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
15 到dào了le 日rì期qī 、 那nà 可kě稱chēng 頌sòng 獨dú有yǒu 權quán能néng 的de 、 萬wàn 王wáng 之zhī王wáng 、 萬wàn 主zhǔ 之zhī 主zhǔ 、	15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
16 就jiù是shì 那nà 獨dú 一yī 不bù死sǐ 、 住zhù在zài 人rén 不bù能néng 靠kào近jìn 的de 光guāng 裡lǐ 、 是shì 人rén 未wèi曾céng 看kàn見jiàn 、 也yě 是shì 不bù能néng 看kàn見jiàn 的de 、 要yào 將jiāng 他tā 顯xiǎn明míng 出chū來lai 。 但dàn願yuàn 尊zūn貴guì 和hé 永yǒng遠yuǎn 的de 權quán能néng 、 都dōu 歸guī 給gěi 他tā 。 阿ā們mén 。	16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
17 你nǐ 要yào 囑zhǔ咐fù 那nà些xiē 今jīn世shì 富fù足zú 的de 人rén 、 不bù要yào 自zì 高gāo 、 也yě 不bù要yào 倚yǐ靠kào 無wú定dìng 的de 錢qián財cái ． 只zhǐ 要yào 倚yǐ靠kào 那nà 厚hòu賜cì 百bǎi 物wù 給gěi 我wǒ們men 享xiǎng受shòu 的de 神shén 。	17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
18 又yòu 要yào 囑zhǔ咐fù 他tā們men 行xíng善shàn 、 在zài 好hǎo事shì 上shàng 富fù足zú 、 甘gān心xīn 施shī 捨shě 、 樂lè意yì 供gōng給gěi 人rén 、〔 供gōng給gěi 或huò 作zuò 體tǐ貼tiē 〕	18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
19 為wèi 自zì己jǐ 積jī 成chéng 美měi好hǎo 的de 根gēn基jī 、 豫yù備bèi 將jiāng來lái 、 叫jiào 他tā們men 持chí 定dìng 那nà 真zhēn正zhèng 的de 生shēng命mìng 。	19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
20 提tí摩mó太tài 阿ā 、 你nǐ 要yào 保bǎo守shǒu 所suǒ 託tuō 付fù 你nǐ的de 、 躲duǒ避bì 世shì俗sú 的de 虛xū 談tán 、 和hé 那nà 敵dí 真zhēn 道dào 似sì是shì而ér非fēi 的de 學xué問wèn 。	20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
21 已yǐ經jīng 有yǒu人rén 自zì稱chēng 有yǒu 這zhè 學xué問wèn 、 就jiù 偏piān離lí 了le 真zhēn 道dào 。 願yuàn 恩ēn惠huì 常cháng 與yú 你nǐ們men 同tóng在zài 。	21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.
