約yuē翰hàn三sān書shū第dì一yī章zhāng	3 John 1
1 作zuò 長zhǎng老lǎo 的de 寫xiě信xìn給gěi 親qīn愛ài的de 該gāi 猶yóu 、 就jiù是shì 我wǒ 誠chéng心xīn 所suǒ愛ài 的de 。	1 The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.
2 親qīn愛ài的de 兄xiōng弟dì 阿ā 、 我wǒ 願yuàn 你nǐ 凡fán事shì 興xīng盛shèng 、 身shēn體tǐ 健jiàn壯zhuàng 、 正zhèng如rú 你nǐ的de 靈líng魂hún 興xīng盛shèng 一yí樣yàng 。	2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
3 有yǒu 弟dì兄xiōng 來lái 證zhèng明míng 你nǐ 心xīn裡lǐ 存cún 的de 真zhēn理lǐ 、 正zhèng如rú 你nǐ 按àn 真zhēn理lǐ 而ér 行xíng 、 我wǒ 就jiù 甚shèn 喜xǐ樂lè 。	3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
4 我wǒ 聽tīng見jiàn 我wǒ的de 兒ér女nǚ們men 按àn 真zhēn理lǐ 而ér 行xíng 、 我wǒ的de 喜xǐ樂lè 就jiù 沒méi有yǒu 比bǐ 這zhè個gè 大dà 的de 。	4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
5 親qīn愛ài的de 兄xiōng弟dì 阿ā 、 凡fán 你nǐ 向xiàng 作zuò客kè 旅lǚ 之zhī 弟dì兄xiōng 所suǒ 行xíng的de 、 都dōu 是shì 忠zhōng心xīn 的de ．	5 Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;
6 他tā們men 在zài 教jiào會huì 面miàn前qián 證zhèng明míng 了le 你nǐ的de 愛ài ． 你nǐ 若ruò 配pèi得dé 過guò 神shén 、 幫bāng助zhù 他tā們men 往wǎng前qián 行xíng 、 這zhè 就jiù 好hǎo了le ．	6 Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well:
7 因yīn 他tā們men 是shì 為wèi 主zhǔ 的de 名míng 〔 原yuán文wén 作zuò 那nà 名míng 〕 出chū外wài 、 對duì於yú 外wài邦bāng人rén 一yī無wú 所suǒ取qǔ 。	7 Because that for his name's sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles.
8 所suǒ以yǐ 我wǒ們men 應yīng該gāi 接jiē待dài 這zhè樣yàng 的de 人rén 、 叫jiào 我wǒ們men 與yú 他tā們men 一yī同tóng 為wèi真zhēn 理lǐ 作zuò 工gōng 。	8 We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth.
9 我wǒ 曾céng 略lüè 略lüè 的de 寫xiě信xìn給gěi 教jiào會huì ． 但dàn 那nà 在zài 教jiào會huì 中zhōng 好hǎo 為wéi首shǒu 的de 丟diū 特tè 腓féi 不bù 接jiē待dài 我wǒ們men 。	9 I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.
10 所suǒ以yǐ 我wǒ 若ruò 去qù 、 必bì要yào 題tí 說shuō 他tā 所suǒ 行xíng的de 事shì 、 就jiù是shì 他tā 用yòng 惡è言yán 妄wàng 論lún 我wǒ們men ． 還hái不bù 以yǐ為wéi 足zú 、 他tā自zì己jǐ 不bù 接jiē待dài 弟dì兄xiōng 、 有yǒu人rén 願yuàn意yì 接jiē待dài 、 他tā 也yě 禁jìn止zhǐ 、 並bìng且qiě 將jiāng 接jiē待dài 弟dì兄xiōng 的de 人rén 趕gǎn出chū 教jiào會huì 。	10 Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.
11 親qīn愛ài的de 兄xiōng弟dì 阿ā 、 不bù要yào 效xiào法fǎ 惡è 、 只zhǐ 要yào 效xiào法fǎ 善shàn 。 行xíng善shàn 的de 屬shǔ 乎hū 神shén ． 行xíng惡è 的de 未wèi曾céng 見jiàn過guò 神shén 。	11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
12 低dī 米mǐ 丟diū 行xíng善shàn 、 有yǒu 眾zhòng人rén 給gěi 他tā 作zuò 見jiàn證zhèng ． 又yòu 有yǒu 真zhēn理lǐ 給gěi 他tā 作zuò 見jiàn證zhèng ． 就jiù是shì 我wǒ們men 也yě 給gěi 他tā 作zuò 見jiàn證zhèng ． 你nǐ 也yě 知zhī道dao 我wǒ們men 的de 見jiàn證zhèng 是shì 真zhēn的de 。	12 Demetrius hath good report of all men, and of the truth itself: yea, and we also bear record; and ye know that our record is true.
13 我wǒ 原yuán有yǒu 許xǔ多duō 事shì 要yào 寫xiě給gěi 你nǐ 、 卻què 不bù願yuàn意yì 用yòng 筆bǐ墨mò 寫xiě給gěi 你nǐ ．	13 I had many things to write, but I will not with ink and pen write unto thee:
14 但dàn 盼pàn望wàng 快kuài快kuài 的de 見jiàn 你nǐ 、 我wǒ們men 就jiù 當dāng面miàn 談tán論lùn ．	14 But I trust I shall shortly see thee, and we shall speak face to face. Peace be to thee. Our friends salute thee. Greet the friends by name.
