使shǐ徒tú行xíng傳zhuàn第dì二èr十shí三sān 章zhāng	Acts 23
1 保bǎo羅luó 定dìng睛jīng 看kàn著zhe 公gōng會huì 的de 人rén 、 說shuō 、 弟dì兄xiōng們mén 、 我wǒ 在zài 神shén 面miàn前qián 行xíng事shì 為wèi 人rén 、 都dōu 是shì 憑píng著zhe 良liáng心xīn 、 直zhí到dào 今jīn日rì 。	1 And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.
2 大dà 祭jì司sī 亞yà 拿ná 尼ní亞yà 、 就jiù 吩fēn咐fù 旁páng邊biān 站zhàn著zhe 的de 人rén 打dǎ 他tā的de 嘴zuǐ 。	2 And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth.
3 保bǎo羅luó 對duì 他tā 說shuō 、 你nǐ 這zhè 粉fěn飾shì 的de 牆qiáng 、 神shén 要yào 打dǎ 你nǐ ． 你nǐ 坐zuò 堂táng 為wèi的de 是shì 按àn 律lǜ法fǎ 審shěn問wèn 我wǒ 、 你nǐ 竟jìng 違wéi背bèi 律lǜ法fǎ 、 吩fēn咐fù 人rén 打dǎ我wǒ 麼me 。	3 Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law?
4 站zhàn在zài 旁páng邊biān 的de 人rén 說shuō 、 你nǐ 辱rù罵mà 神shén 的de 大dà 祭jì司sī 麼me 。	4 And they that stood by said, Revilest thou God's high priest?
5 保bǎo羅luó 羅luó說shuō 、 弟dì兄xiōng們mén 、 我wǒ 不bù 曉xiǎo得de 他tā 是shì 大dà 祭jì司sī ． 經jīng 上shàng 記jì著zhe 說shuō 、『 不bù可kě 毀huǐ謗bàng 你nǐ 百bǎi姓xìng 的de 官guān長cháng 。』	5 Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.
6 保bǎo羅luó 看kàn出chū 大dà眾zhòng 、 一yī半bàn 是shì 撒sā都dū該gāi人rén 、 一yī半bàn 是shì 法fǎ利lì賽sài人rén 、 就jiù 在zài 公gōng會huì 中zhōng 大dà聲shēng說shuō 、 弟dì兄xiōng們mén 、 我wǒ 是shì 法fǎ利lì賽sài人rén 、 也yě 是shì 法fǎ利lì賽sài人rén 的de 子zǐ孫sūn ． 我wǒ 現xiàn在zài 受shòu 審shěn問wèn 、 是shì 為wèi盼pàn 望wàng 死sǐ人rén 復fù活huó 。	6 But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.
7 說shuō了le 這zhè 話huà 、 法fǎ利lì賽sài人rén 和hé 撒sā都dū該gāi人rén 、 就jiù 爭zhēng論lùn 起qǐ來lai 、 會huì眾zhòng 分fēn為wèi 兩liǎng黨dǎng 。	7 And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees: and the multitude was divided.
8 因yīn為wèi 撒sā都dū該gāi人rén 說shuō 、 沒méi有yǒu 復fù活huó 、 也yě 沒méi有yǒu 天tiān使shǐ 、 和hé 鬼guǐ魂hún ． 法fǎ利lì賽sài人rén 卻què說shuō 、 兩liǎng樣yàng 都dōu 有yǒu 。	8 For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.
9 於yú是shì 大dà大dà 的de 喧xuān嚷rǎng 起qǐ來lai ． 有yǒu 幾jǐ個ge 法fǎ利lì 賽sài 黨dǎng 的de 文wén士shì 站zhàn起qǐ來lái 、 爭zhēng辯biàn 說shuō 、 我wǒ們men 看kàn不bù出chū 這zhè 人rén 有yǒu 甚shén麼me 惡è 處chǔ 、 倘tǎng若ruò 有yǒu鬼guǐ 魂hún 、 或huò是shì 天tiān使shǐ 、 對duì 他tā 說shuō過guò 話huà 、 怎zěn麼me樣yàng 呢ne 。	9 And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.
10 那nà時shí 大dà 起qǐ 爭zhēng吵chǎo 、 千qiān 夫fū 長cháng 恐kǒng怕pà 保bǎo羅luó 被bèi 他tā們men 扯chě碎suì 了le 、 就jiù 吩fēn咐fù 兵bīng丁dīng 下xià去qu 、 把bǎ 他tā 從cóng 眾zhòng人rén 當dāng中zhōng 搶qiāng 出chū來lai 、 帶dài進jìn 營yíng 樓lóu去qù 。	10 And when there arose a great dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should have been pulled in pieces of them, commanded the soldiers to go down, and to take him by force from among them, and to bring him into the castle.
11 當dāng夜yè 、 主zhǔ 站zhàn在zài 保bǎo羅luó 旁páng邊biān 說shuō 、 放fàng心xīn 罷bà 、 你nǐ 怎zěn樣yàng 在zài 耶yē路lù撒sā冷lěng 為wèi 我wǒ 作zuò 見jiàn證zhèng 、 也yě 必bì 怎zěn樣yàng 在zài 羅luó馬mǎ 為wèi 我wǒ 作zuò 見jiàn證zhèng 。	11 And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.
12 到dào了le 天tiān亮liàng 、 猶yóu太tài人rén 同tóng謀móu 起qǐ誓shì 、 說shuō 、 若ruò不bù 先xiān 殺shā 保bǎo羅luó 、 就jiù 不bù 喫chī 不bù喝hē 。	12 And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.
13 這zhè樣yàng 同tóng心xīn 起qǐ誓shì 的de 、 有yǒu 四sì十shí多duō 人rén 。	13 And they were more than forty which had made this conspiracy.
14 他tā們men 來lái 見jiàn 祭jì司sī長zhǎng 和hé 長zhǎng老lǎo 說shuō 、 我wǒ們men 已yǐ經jīng 起qǐ了le 一yī個ge 大dà 誓shì 、 若ruò不bù 先xiān 殺shā 保bǎo羅luó 、 就jiù 不bù 喫chī 甚shén麼me 。	14 And they came to the chief priests and elders, and said, We have bound ourselves under a great curse, that we will eat nothing until we have slain Paul.
15 現xiàn在zài 你nǐ們men 和hé 公gōng會huì 要yào 知zhī 會huì 千qiān 夫fū 長cháng 、 叫jiào 他tā 帶dài下xià 保bǎo羅luó 到dào 你nǐ們men 這zhè裡lǐ 來lái 、 假jiǎ作zuò 要yào 詳xiáng細xì 察chá 考kǎo 他tā的de 事shì ． 我wǒ們men 已yǐ經jīng 豫yù備bèi 好hǎo了le 、 不bù等děng 他tā 來lái到dào 跟gēn前qián 就jiù 殺shā 他tā 。	15 Now therefore ye with the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you to morrow, as though ye would enquire something more perfectly concerning him: and we, or ever he come near, are ready to kill him.
16 保bǎo羅luó 的de 外wài甥shēng 、 聽tīng見jiàn 他tā們men 設shè下xià 埋mái伏fú 、 就jiù 來lái到dào 營yíng 樓lóu裡lǐ 告gào訴su 保bǎo羅luó 。	16 And when Paul's sister's son heard of their lying in wait, he went and entered into the castle, and told Paul.
17 保bǎo羅luó 請qǐng 一yī個ge 百bǎi夫fū長zhǎng 來lái 、 說shuō 、 你nǐ 領lǐng 這zhè 少shǎo年nián人rén 去qù 見jiàn 千qiān 夫fū 長cháng 、 他tā 有yǒu 事shì 告gào訴su 他tā 。	17 Then Paul called one of the centurions unto him, and said, Bring this young man unto the chief captain: for he hath a certain thing to tell him.
18 於yú是shì 把bǎ 他tā 領lǐng 去qù 見jiàn 千qiān 夫fū 長cháng 說shuō 、 被bèi 囚qiú 的de 保bǎo羅luó 請qǐng 我wǒ 到dào 他tā 那nà裡li 、 求qiú我wǒ 領lǐng 這zhè 少shǎo年nián人rén 來lái 見jiàn 你nǐ ． 他tā 有yǒu 事shì 告gào訴su 你nǐ 。	18 So he took him, and brought him to the chief captain, and said, Paul the prisoner called me unto him, and prayed me to bring this young man unto thee, who hath something to say unto thee.
19 千qiān 夫fū 長cháng 就jiù 拉lā著zhe 他tā的de 手shǒu 、 走zǒu到dào 一yī旁páng 、 私sī下xià 問wèn 他tā 說shuō 、 你nǐ 有yǒu 甚shén麼me 事shì 告gào訴su 我wǒ 呢ne 。	19 Then the chief captain took him by the hand, and went with him aside privately, and asked him, What is that thou hast to tell me?
20 他tā 說shuō 、 猶yóu太tài人rén 已yǐ經jīng 約yuē定dìng 、 要yāo求qiú 你nǐ 明míng天tiān 帶dài下xià 保bǎo羅luó 到dào 公gōng會huì 裡lǐ 去qù 、 假jiǎ作zuò 要yào 詳xiáng細xì 查chá問wèn 他tā的de 事shì 。	20 And he said, The Jews have agreed to desire thee that thou wouldest bring down Paul to morrow into the council, as though they would enquire somewhat of him more perfectly.
21 你nǐ 切qiè不bù 要yào 隨suí從cóng 他tā們men 、 因yīn為wèi 他tā們men 有yǒu 四sì十shí多duō 人rén 埋mái伏fú 、 已yǐ經jīng 起qǐ誓shì 、 說shuō 、 若ruò不bù 先xiān 殺shā 保bǎo羅luó 、 就jiù 不bù 喫chī 不bù喝hē ． 現xiàn在zài 豫yù備bèi 好hǎo了le 、 只zhǐ 等děng你nǐ 應yīng允yǔn 。	21 But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with an oath, that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and now are they ready, looking for a promise from thee.
22 於yú是shì 千qiān 夫fū 長cháng 打dǎ發fā 少shǎo年nián人rén 走zǒu 、 囑zhǔ咐fù 他tā 說shuō 、 不bù要yào 告gào訴su 人rén 你nǐ 將jiāng 這zhè 事shì 報bào 給gěi 我wǒ 了le 。	22 So the chief captain then let the young man depart, and charged him, See thou tell no man that thou hast shewed these things to me.
23 千qiān 夫fū 長cháng 便biàn 叫jiào 了le 兩liǎng個ge 百bǎi夫fū長zhǎng 來lái 、 說shuō 、 豫yù備bèi 步bù兵bīng 二èr百bǎi 、 馬mǎ 兵bīng 七qī十shí 、 長cháng槍qiāng 手shǒu 二èr百bǎi 、 今jīn夜yè 亥hài 初chū 往wǎng 該gāi 撒sā 利lì亞yà 去qù ．	23 And he called unto him two centurions, saying, Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea, and horsemen threescore and ten, and spearmen two hundred, at the third hour of the night;
24 也yě 要yào 豫yù備bèi 牲shēng 扣kòu 叫jiào 保bǎo羅luó 騎qí上shàng 、 護hù送sòng 到dào 巡xún撫fǔ 腓féi力lì 斯sī 那nà裡li 去qù 。	24 And provide them beasts, that they may set Paul on, and bring him safe unto Felix the governor.
25 千qiān 夫fū 長cháng 又yòu 寫xiě了le 文wén書shū 、	25 And he wrote a letter after this manner:
26 大dà略lüè 說shuō 、 革gé 老lǎo 丟diū 呂lǚ 西xī亞yà 、 請qǐng 巡xún撫fǔ 腓féi力lì 斯sī 大dà人ren 安ān 。	26 Claudius Lysias unto the most excellent governor Felix sendeth greeting.
27 這zhè 人rén 被bèi 猶yóu太tài人rén 拿ná住zhù 、 將jiāng 要yào 殺shā害hài 、 我wǒ 得dé知zhī 他tā 是shì 羅luó馬mǎ人rén 、 就jiù 帶dài兵bīng 丁dīng 下xià去qu 救jiù 他tā 出chū來lai 。	27 This man was taken of the Jews, and should have been killed of them: then came I with an army, and rescued him, having understood that he was a Roman.
28 因yīn 要yào 知zhī道dao 他tā們men 告gào 他tā的de 緣yuán故gù 、 我wǒ 就jiù 帶dài 他tā 下xià 到dào 他tā們men的de 公gōng會huì 去qù ．	28 And when I would have known the cause wherefore they accused him, I brought him forth into their council:
29 便biàn 查chá 知zhī 他tā 被bèi告gào 、 是shì 因yīn 他tā們men 律lǜ法fǎ 的de 辯biàn論lùn 、 並bìng沒méi有yǒu 甚shén麼me 該gāi死sǐ 該gāi 綁bǎng 的de 罪zuì名míng 。	29 Whom I perceived to be accused of questions of their law, but to have nothing laid to his charge worthy of death or of bonds.
30 後hòu來lái 有yǒu人rén 把bǎ 要yào害hài 他tā的de 計jì謀móu 告gào訴su 我wǒ 、 我wǒ 就jiù 立lì時shí 解jiě 他tā 到dào 你nǐ 那nà裡li 去qù 、 又yòu 吩fēn咐fù 告gào 他tā的de 人rén 、 在zài 你nǐ 面miàn前qián 告gào 他tā 。〔 有yǒu 古gǔ 卷juǎn 在zài 此cǐ 有yǒu 願yuàn 你nǐ 平píng安ān 〕	30 And when it was told me how that the Jews laid wait for the man, I sent straightway to thee, and gave commandment to his accusers also to say before thee what they had against him. Farewell.
31 於yú是shì 兵bīng丁dīng 照zhào 所suǒ 吩fēn咐fù 他tā們men的de 、 將jiāng 保bǎo羅luó 夜yè裡lǐ 帶dài到dào 安ān 提tí 帕pà 底dǐ 。	31 Then the soldiers, as it was commanded them, took Paul, and brought him by night to Antipatris.
32 第dì二èr天tiān 、 讓ràng 馬mǎ 兵bīng 護hù送sòng 、 他tā們men 就jiù 回huí 營yíng 樓lóu去qù 。	32 On the morrow they left the horsemen to go with him, and returned to the castle:
33 馬mǎ 兵bīng 來lái到dào 該gāi 撒sā 利lì亞yà 、 把bǎ 文wén書shū 呈chéng給gěi 巡xún撫fǔ 、 便biàn 叫jiào 保bǎo羅luó 站zhàn在zài 他tā 面miàn前qián 。	33 Who, when they came to Caesarea, and delivered the epistle to the governor, presented Paul also before him.
34 巡xún撫fǔ 看kàn了le 文wén書shū 、 問wèn 保bǎo羅luó 是shì 那nà 省shěng 的de 人rén 、 既jì 曉xiǎo得de 他tā 是shì 基jī利lì 家jiā人rén 、	34 And when the governor had read the letter, he asked of what province he was. And when he understood that he was of Cilicia;
35 就jiù 說shuō 、 等děng 告gào 你nǐ的de 人rén 來lái到dào 、 我wǒ 要yào 細xì 聽tīng 你nǐ的de 事shì 、 便biàn 吩fēn咐fù 人rén 把bǎ 他tā 看kàn守shǒu 在zài 希xī律lǜ 的de 衙yá門mén 裡lǐ 。	35 I will hear thee, said he, when thine accusers are also come. And he commanded him to be kept in Herod's judgment hall.
