| 加拉太書第五 章 |
Galatians 5 |
| 1 基督 釋放 了 我們 、 叫 我們 得以 自由 、 所以 要 站立 得 穩 、 不要 再 被 奴 僕 的 軛 挾制 。 |
1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. |
| 2 我 保羅 告訴 你們 、 若 受 割禮 、 基督 就 與 你們 無益 了 。 |
2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. |
| 3 我 再 指著 凡 受 割禮 的 人 確實 的 說 、 他 是 欠著 行 全 律法 的 債 。 |
3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. |
| 4 你們 這 要 靠 律法 稱義 的 、 是 與 基督 隔絕 、 從 恩典 中 墜落 了 。 |
4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. |
| 5 我們 靠著 聖靈 、 憑著 信心 、 等候 所 盼望 的 義 。 |
5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. |
| 6 原來 在 基督 耶穌 裡 、 受 割禮 不受 割禮 、 全無 功效 ． 惟獨 使 人生 發 仁愛 的 信心 、 纔 有功 效 。 |
6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. |
| 7 你們 向來 跑得 好 ． 有 誰 攔阻 你們 、 叫 你們 不順從 真理 呢 。 |
7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth? |
| 8 這樣 的 勸導 、 不是 出於 那 召 你們的 。 |
8 This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you. |
| 9 一點 麵酵 能 使 全 團 都 發起 來 。 |
9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. |
| 10 我 在 主 裡 很 信 你們 必 不 懷 別樣 的 心 ． 但 攪擾 你們的 、 無論是 誰 、 必 擔當 他的 罪名 。 |
10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be. |
| 11 弟兄們 、 我 若 仍舊 傳 割禮 、 為甚麼 還 受 逼迫 呢 ． 若是 這樣 、 那 十字架 討厭 的 地方 就 沒有 了 。 |
11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased. |
| 12 恨不得 那 攪亂 你們的 人 、 把 自己 割 絕了 。 |
12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you. |
| 13 弟兄們 、 你們 蒙 召 、 是 要 得 自由 ． 只是 不可 將 你們的 自由 當作 放縱 情 慾 的 機會 ． 總要 用 愛心 互相 服事 。 |
13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. |
| 14 因為 全 律法 都 包在 愛人如己 這 一句話 之內 了 。 |
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. |
| 15 你們 要 謹慎 ． 若 相 咬 相 吞 、 只 怕 要 彼此 消滅 了 。 |
15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. |
| 16 我 說 、 你們 當 順著 聖靈 而 行 、 就 不放 縱 肉體 的 情 慾 了 。 |
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. |
| 17 因為 情 慾 和 聖靈 相爭 、 聖靈 和 情 慾 相爭 ． 這 兩個 是 彼此 相 敵 、 使 你們 不能 作 所 願意 作 的 。 |
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. |
| 18 但 你們 若 被 聖靈 引導 、 就 不在 律法 以下 。 |
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. |
| 19 情 慾 的 事 、 都 是 顯而易見 的 ． 就 如 姦淫 、 污穢 、 邪 蕩 、 |
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, |
| 20 拜 偶像 、 邪術 、 仇恨 、 爭 競 、 忌恨 、 惱怒 、 結黨 、 紛爭 、 異端 、 |
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, |
| 21 嫉妒 、〔 有 古 卷 在 此 有 兇 殺 二字 〕 醉酒 、 荒 宴 等類 、 我 從前 告訴 你們 、 現在 又 告訴 你們 、 行 這樣 事 的 人 、 必 不能 承受 神 的 國 |
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. |
| 22 聖靈 所 結 的 果子 、 就是 仁愛 、 喜樂 、 和平 、 忍耐 、 恩 慈 、 良善 、 信 實 、 |
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, |
| 23 溫柔 、 節制 ． 這樣 的 事 、 沒有 律法 禁止 。 |
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. |
| 24 凡屬 基督 耶穌 的 人 、 是 已經 把 肉體 、 連 肉體 的 邪 情 私 慾 、 同 釘在 十字架上 了 。 |
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. |
| 25 我們 若是 靠 聖靈 得 生 、 就 當 靠 聖靈 行事 。 |
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. |
| 26 不要 貪圖 虛名 、 彼此 惹氣 、 互相 嫉妒 。 |
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. |
