1 耶yē穌sū 說shuō了le 這zhè 話huà 、 就jiù 同tóng 門mén徒tú 出chū去qù 、 過guò了le 汲jí 淪lún 溪qī 、 在zài那nà裡lǐ 有yǒu 一yī個ge 園yuán子zǐ 、 他tā 和hé 門mén徒tú 進jìn去qù 了le 。	1 When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples.
2 賣mài 耶yē穌sū 的de 猶yóu大dà 也yě 知zhī道dao 那nà地dì方fāng ． 因yīn為wèi 耶yē穌sū 和hé 門mén徒tú 屢lǚ次cì 上shàng 那nà裡li 去qù 聚jù集jí 。	2 And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples.
3 猶yóu大dà 領lǐng了le 一yī隊duì 兵bīng 、 和hé 祭jì司sī長zhǎng 並bìng 法fǎ利lì賽sài人rén 的de 差chā役yì 、 拿ná著zhe 燈dēng籠lóng 、 火huǒ把bǎ 、 兵bīng器qì 、 就jiù 來lái到dào 園yuán 裡lǐ 。	3 Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.
4 耶yē穌sū 知zhī道dao 將jiāng 要yào 臨lín到dào 自zì己jǐ的de 一yī切qiè事shì 、 就jiù 出chū來lai 、 對duì 他tā們men 說shuō 、 你nǐ們men 找zhǎo誰shéi 。	4 Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?
5 他tā們men 回huí答dá說shuō 、 找zhǎo 拿ná撒sā勒lè 人rén 耶yē穌sū 。 耶yē穌sū 說shuō 、 我wǒ 就jiù是shì 。 賣mài 他tā的de 猶yóu大dà 也yě 同tóng 他tā們men 站zhàn在zài 那nà裡li 。	5 They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.
6 耶yē穌sū 一yī說shuō 我wǒ 就jiù是shì 、 他tā們men 就jiù 退tuì 後hòu 倒dǎo在zài 地dì上shàng 。	6 As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.
7 他tā 又yòu 問wèn 他tā們men 說shuō 、 你nǐ們men 找zhǎo誰shéi 。 他tā們men 說shuō 、 找zhǎo 拿ná撒sā勒lè 人rén 耶yē穌sū 。	7 Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.
8 耶yē穌sū 說shuō 、 我wǒ 已yǐ經jīng 告gào訴su 你nǐ們men 、 我wǒ 就jiù是shì ． 你nǐ們men 若ruò 找zhǎo我wǒ 、 就jiù 讓ràng 這zhè些xie 人rén 去qù 罷bà 。	8 Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:
9 這zhè 要yào 應yìng驗yàn 耶yē穌sū 從cóng前qián 的de話huà 、 說shuō 、 你nǐ 所suǒ 賜cì給gěi 我wǒ的de 人rén 、 我wǒ 沒méi有yǒu 失shī落luò 一yī個ge 。	9 That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.
10 西xī門mén 彼bǐ得dé 帶dài著zhe 一yī把bǎ 刀dāo 、 就jiù 拔bá出chū 來lái 、 將jiāng 大dà 祭jì司sī 的de 僕pú人rén 砍kǎn 了le 一yī刀dāo 、 削xuē掉diào 他tā的de 右yòu耳ěr ． 那nà 僕pú人rén 名míng叫jiào 馬mǎ勒lè 古gǔ 。	10 Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.
11 耶yē穌sū 就jiù 對duì 彼bǐ得dé 說shuō 、 收shōu 刀dāo 入rù 鞘qiào 罷bà 。 我wǒ 父fù 所suǒ 給gěi 我wǒ的de 那nà 杯bēi 、 我wǒ 豈qǐ可kě 不bù喝hē 呢ne 。	11 Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?
12 那nà 隊duì 兵bīng 和hé 千qiān 夫fū 長cháng 並bìng 猶yóu太tài人rén 的de 差chā役yì 、 就jiù 拿ná住zhù 耶yē穌sū 、 把bǎ 他tā 捆kǔn綁bǎng 了le ．	12 Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him,
13 先xiān 帶dài到dào 亞yà那nà 面miàn前qián ． 因yīn為wèi 亞yà那nà 是shì 本běn年nián 作zuò大dà 祭jì司sī 該gāi 亞yà法fǎ 的de 岳yuè父fù 。	13 And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year.
14 這zhè 該gāi 亞yà法fǎ 、 就jiù是shì 從cóng前qián 向xiàng 猶yóu太tài人rén 發fā 議yì論lùn 說shuō 、 一yī個ge 人rén 替tì 百bǎi姓xìng 死sǐ 是shì 有yǒu益yì 的de 那nà位wèi 。	14 Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.
15 西xī門mén 彼bǐ得dé 跟gēn著zhe 耶yē穌sū 、 還hái有yǒu 一yī個ge 門mén徒tú 跟gēn著zhe ． 那nà 門mén徒tú 是shì 大dà 祭jì司sī 所suǒ 認rèn識shi 的de ． 他tā 就jiù 同tóng 耶yē穌sū 進jìn了le 大dà 祭jì司sī 的de 院yuàn子zi 。	15 And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest.
16 彼bǐ得dé 卻què 站zhàn在zài 門mén外wài ． 大dà 祭jì司sī 所suǒ 認rèn識shi 的de 那nà個ge 門mén徒tú 出chū來lai 、 和hé 看kàn門mén 的de 使shǐ女nǚ 說shuō了le 一yī聲shēng 、 就jiù 領lǐng 彼bǐ得dé 進jìn去qù 。	16 But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter.
17 那nà 看kàn門mén 的de 使shǐ女nǚ 對duì 彼bǐ得dé 說shuō 、 你nǐ 不bù 也yě 是shì 這zhè 人rén 的de 門mén徒tú 麼me ． 他tā 說shuō 、 我wǒ 不bù是shì 。	17 Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man's disciples? He saith, I am not.
18 僕pú人rén 和hé 差chā役yì 、 因yīn為wèi 天tiān冷lěng 、 就jiù 生shēng了le 炭tàn火huǒ 、 站zhàn在zài 那nà裡li 烤kǎo火huǒ ． 彼bǐ得dé 也yě 同tóng 他tā們men 站zhàn著zhe 烤kǎo火huǒ 。	18 And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself.
19 大dà 祭jì司sī 就jiù 以yǐ 耶yē穌sū 的de 門mén徒tú 和hé 他tā的de 教jiào訓xun 盤pán問wèn 他tā 。	19 The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine.
20 耶yē穌sū 回huí答dá說shuō 、 我wǒ 從cóng來lái 是shì 明míng明míng 的de 對duì 世shì人rén 說shuō話huà ． 我wǒ 常cháng在zài 會huì堂táng 和hé 殿diàn 裡lǐ 、 就jiù是shì 猶yóu太tài人rén 聚jù集jí 的de 地dì方fang 、 教jiào訓xun 人rén ． 我wǒ 在zài 暗àn地dè裡lǐ 、 並bìng沒méi有yǒu 說shuō 甚shén麼me 。	20 Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.
21 你nǐ 為wèi甚shén麼me 問wèn 我wǒ 呢ne ． 可kě以yǐ 問wèn 那nà 聽tīng見jiàn 的de 人rén 、 我wǒ 對duì 他tā們men 說shuō的de 是shì 甚shén麼me ． 我wǒ 所suǒ 說shuō的de 、 他tā們men 都dōu 知zhī道dao 。	21 Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.
22 耶yē穌sū 說shuō了le 這zhè 話huà 、 旁páng邊biān 站zhàn著zhe 的de 一yī個ge 差chā役yì 、 用yòng 手shǒu掌zhǎng 打dǎ 他tā 說shuō 、 你nǐ 這zhè樣yàng 回huí答dá 大dà 祭jì司sī 麼me 。	22 And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so?
23 耶yē穌sū 說shuō 、 我wǒ 若ruò 說shuō的de 不bù是shì 、 你nǐ 可kě以yǐ 指zhǐ 證zhèng 那nà 不bù是shì ． 我wǒ 若ruò 說shuō的de 是shì 、 你nǐ 為wèi甚shén麼me 打dǎ我wǒ 呢ne 。	23 Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me?
24 亞yà那nà 就jiù 把bǎ 耶yē穌sū 解jiě 到dào 大dà 祭jì司sī 該gāi 亞yà法fǎ 那nà裡li 、 仍réng是shì 捆kǔn 著zhe 解jiě去qù 的de 。	24 Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.
25 西xī門mén 彼bǐ得dé 正zhèng 站zhàn著zhe 烤kǎo火huǒ 、 有yǒu人rén 對duì 他tā 說shuō 、 你nǐ 不bù 也yě 是shì 他tā的de 門mén徒tú 麼me 。 彼bǐ得dé 不bù承chéng認rèn 、 說shuō 、 我wǒ 不bù是shì 。	25 And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also one of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I am not.
26 有yǒu 大dà 祭jì司sī 的de 一yī個ge 僕pú人rén 、 是shì 彼bǐ得dé 削xuē掉diào 耳ěr朵duo 那nà人rén 的de 親qīn屬shǔ 、 說shuō 、 我wǒ 不bù是shì 看kàn見jiàn 你nǐ 同tóng 他tā 在zài 園yuán子zǐ 裡lǐ 麼me 。	26 One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with him?
27 彼bǐ得dé 又yòu 不bù承chéng認rèn ． 立lì時shí 雞jī 就jiù 叫jiào 了le 。	27 Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew.
28 眾zhòng人rén 將jiāng 耶yē穌sū 、 從cóng 該gāi 亞yà法fǎ 那nà裡li 往wǎng 衙yá門mén 內nèi 解jiě去qù ． 那nà時shí 天tiān 還hái 早zǎo ． 他tā們mén自zì己jǐ 卻què 不bù進jìn 衙yá門mén 、 恐kǒng怕pà 染rǎn 了le 污wū穢huì 、 不bù能néng 喫chī 逾yú越yuè節jié 的de 筵yán席xí 。	28 Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.
29 彼bǐ 拉lā多duō 就jiù 出chū來lai 、 到dào 他tā們men 那nà裡li 、 說shuō 、 你nǐ們men 告gào 這zhè 人rén 是shì 為wèi甚shén麼me 事shì 呢ne 。	29 Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man?
30 他tā們men 回huí答dá說shuō 、 這zhè 人rén 若ruò不bù 是shì 作zuò惡è 的de 、 我wǒ們men 就jiù 不bù 把bǎ 他tā 交jiāo給gěi 你nǐ 。	30 They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee.
31 彼bǐ 拉lā 多duō說shuō 、 你nǐ們men 自zì己jǐ 帶dài 他tā 去qù 、 按àn著zhe 你nǐ們men的de 律lǜ法fǎ 審shěn問wèn 他tā 罷bà 。 猶yóu太tài人rén 說shuō 、 我wǒ們men 沒méi有yǒu 殺shā人rén 的de 權quán柄bǐng 。	31 Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death:
32 這zhè 要yào 應yìng驗yàn 耶yē穌sū 所suǒ 說shuō 、 自zì己jǐ 將jiāng 要yào 怎zěn樣yàng 死sǐ 的de話huà 了le 。	32 That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die.
33 彼bǐ 拉lā多duō 又yòu 進jìn了le 衙yá門mén 、 叫jiào 耶yē穌sū 來lái 、 對duì 他tā 說shuō 、 你nǐ 是shì 猶yóu太tài人rén 的de 王wáng 麼me 。	33 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?
34 耶yē穌sū 回huí答dá說shuō 、 這zhè 話huà 是shì 你nǐ自zì己jǐ 說shuō的de 、 還hái是shì 別bié人rén 論lún 我wǒ 對duì 你nǐ 說shuō的de 呢ne 。	34 Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me?
35 彼bǐ 拉lā 多duō說shuō 、 我wǒ 豈qǐ是shì 猶yóu太tài人rén 呢ne ． 你nǐ 本běn國guó 的de 人rén 和hé 祭jì司sī長zhǎng 、 把bǎ 你nǐ 交jiāo給gěi 我wǒ ． 你nǐ 作zuò了le 甚shén麼me 事shì 呢ne 。	35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?
36 耶yē穌sū 回huí答dá說shuō 、 我wǒ的de 國guó 不bù屬shǔ 這zhè 世shì界jiè ． 我wǒ的de 國guó 若ruò 屬shǔ 這zhè 世shì界jiè 、 我wǒ的de 臣chén僕pú 必bì要yào 爭zhēng 戰zhàn 、 使shǐ 我wǒ 不bù至zhì於yú 被bèi 交jiāo給gěi 猶yóu太tài人rén ． 只zhǐ是shì 我wǒ的de 國guó 不bù屬shǔ 這zhè 世shì界jiè 。	36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
37 彼bǐ 拉lā多duō 就jiù 對duì 他tā 說shuō 、 這zhè樣yàng 、 你nǐ 是shì 王wáng 麼me 。 耶yē穌sū 回huí答dá說shuō 、 你nǐ 說shuō 我wǒ 是shì 王wáng ． 我wǒ 為wèi此cǐ 而ér 生shēng 、 也yě 為wèi此cǐ 來lái到dào 世shì間jiān 、 特tè為wèi 給gěi 真zhēn理lǐ 作zuò 見jiàn證zhèng ． 凡fán屬shǔ 真zhēn理lǐ 的de 人rén 、 就jiù 聽tīng 我wǒ的de 話huà 。	37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
38 彼bǐ 拉lā 多duō說shuō 、 真zhēn理lǐ 是shì 甚shén麼me 呢ne 。 說shuō了le 這zhè 話huà 、 又yòu 出chū來lai 到dào 猶yóu太tài人rén 那nà裡li 、 對duì 他tā們men 說shuō 、 我wǒ 查chá 不bù出chū 他tā 有yǒu 甚shén麼me 罪zuì 來lái 。	38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.
39 但dàn 你nǐ們men 有yǒu 個ge 規guī矩ju 、 在zài 逾yú越yuè節jié 要yào 我wǒ 給gěi 你nǐ們men 釋shì放fàng 一yī個ge 人rén 、 你nǐ們men 要yào 我wǒ 給gěi 你nǐ們men 釋shì放fàng 猶yóu太tài人rén 的de 王wáng 麼me 。	39 But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews?
40 他tā們men 又yòu 喊hǎn著zhe 說shuō 、 不bù要yào 這zhè 人rén 、 要yào 巴bā 拉lā巴bā 。 這zhè 巴bā 拉lā巴bā 是shì 個ge 強qiáng盜dào 。	40 Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.
