1 主zhǔ 知zhī道dao 法fǎ利lì賽sài人rén 聽tīng見jiàn 他tā 收shōu 門mén徒tú 施shī洗xǐ 比bǐ 約yuē翰hàn 還hái多duō 、	1 When therefore the LORD knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,
2 （ 其qí實shí 不bù是shì 耶yē穌sū 親qīn自zì 施shī洗xǐ 、 乃nǎi是shì 他tā的de 門mén徒tú 施shī洗xǐ ）	2 (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)
3 他tā 就jiù 離lí了le 猶yóu太tài 、 又yòu 往wǎng 加jiā利lì利lì 去qù ．	3 He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee.
4 必bì須xū 經jīng過guò 撒sā瑪mǎ利lì亞yǎ 。	4 And he must needs go through Samaria.
5 於yú是shì 到dào了le 撒sā瑪mǎ利lì亞yǎ 的de 一yī座zuò 城chéng 、 名míng叫jiào 敘xù 加jiā 、 靠kào近jìn 雅yǎ各gè 給gěi 他tā 兒ér子zi 約yuē瑟sè 的de 那nà塊kuài 地de 。	5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
6 在zài那nà裡lǐ 有yǒu 雅yǎ各gè 井jǐng 。 耶yē穌sū 因yīn 走zǒu路lù 困kùn乏fá 、 就jiù坐zuò 在zài 井jǐng 旁páng ． 那nà時shí 約yuē 有yǒu 午wǔ 正zhèng 。	6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.
7 有yǒu 一yī個ge 撒sā瑪mǎ利lì亞yǎ 的de 婦fù人rén 來lái 打dǎ水shuǐ ． 耶yē穌sū 對duì 他tā 說shuō 、 請qǐng 你nǐ 給gěi 我wǒ 水shuǐ 喝hē 。	7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
8 那nà時shí 門mén徒tú 進jìn城chéng 買mǎi 食shí物wù 去qù了le 。	8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9 撒sā瑪mǎ利lì亞yǎ 的de 婦fù人rén 對duì 他tā 說shuō 、 你nǐ 既jì是shì 猶yóu太tài人rén 、 怎zěn麼me 向xiàng 我wǒ 一yī個ge 撒sā瑪mǎ利lì亞yǎ 婦fù人rén 要yào 水shuǐ 喝hē 呢ne 。 原yuán來lái 猶yóu太tài人rén 和hé 撒sā瑪mǎ利lì亞yǎ 人rén 沒méi有yǒu 來lái往wǎng 。	9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10 耶yē穌sū 回huí答dá說shuō 、 你nǐ 若ruò 知zhī道dao 神shén 的de 恩ēn賜cì 、 和hé 對duì 你nǐ 說shuō給gěi 我wǒ 水shuǐ 喝hē 的de 是shì 誰shéi 、 你nǐ 必bì 早zǎo 求qiú 他tā 、 他tā 也yě 必bì 早zǎo 給gěi 了le 你nǐ 活huó水shuǐ 。	10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11 婦fù人rén 說shuō 、 先xiān生sheng 沒méi有yǒu 打dǎ水shuǐ 的de 器qì具jù 、 井jǐng 又yòu 深shēn 、 你nǐ 從cóng 那nà裡li 得dé 活huó水shuǐ 呢ne 。	11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
12 我wǒ們men 的de 祖zǔ宗zōng 雅yǎ各gè 、 將jiāng 這zhè 井jǐng 留liú給gěi 我wǒ們men ． 他tā自zì己jǐ 和hé 兒ér子zi 並bìng 牲shēng畜chù 、 也yě 都dōu 喝hē 這zhè 井jǐng 裡lǐ 的de 水shuǐ 、 難nán道dào 你nǐ 比bǐ 他tā 還hái 大dà 麼me 。	12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
13 耶yē穌sū 回huí答dá說shuō 、 凡fán 喝hē 這zhè 水shuǐ 的de 、 還hái要yào 再zài 渴kě ．	13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14 人rén 若ruò 喝hē 我wǒ 所suǒ 賜cì 的de 水shuǐ 就jiù 永yǒng遠yuǎn 不bù 渴kě ． 我wǒ 所suǒ 賜cì 的de 水shuǐ 、 要yào 在zài 他tā 裡lǐ頭tóu 成chéng為wéi 泉quán源yuán 、 直zhí 湧yǒng 到dào 永yǒng生shēng 。	14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
15 婦fù人rén 說shuō 、 先xiān生sheng 、 請qǐng 把bǎ 這zhè 水shuǐ 賜cì給gěi 我wǒ 、 叫jiào 我wǒ 不bù 渴kě 、 也yě 不bù用yòng 來lái 這zhè麼me 遠yuǎn 打dǎ水shuǐ 。	15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
16 耶yē穌sū 說shuō 、 你nǐ 去qù 叫jiào 你nǐ 丈zhàng夫fu 也yě 到dào 這zhè裡lǐ 來lái 。	16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
17 婦fù人rén 說shuō 、 我wǒ 沒méi有yǒu 丈zhàng夫fu 。 耶yē穌sū 說shuō 、 你nǐ 說shuō 沒méi有yǒu 丈zhàng夫fu 、 是shì 不bù錯cuò 的de ．	17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
18 你nǐ 已yǐ經jīng 有yǒu 五wǔ個ge 丈zhàng夫fu ． 你nǐ 現xiàn在zài 有yǒu的de 、 並bìng 不bù是shì 你nǐ的de 丈zhàng夫fu ． 你nǐ 這zhè 話huà 是shì 真zhēn的de ．	18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
19 婦fù人rén 說shuō 、 先xiān生sheng 、 我wǒ 看kàn出chū 你nǐ 是shì 先xiān知zhī 。	19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
20 我wǒ們men 的de 祖zǔ宗zōng 在zài 這zhè 山shān上shàng 禮lǐ拜bài ． 你nǐ們men 倒dǎo 說shuō 、 應yīng當dāng 禮lǐ拜bài 的de 地dì方fang 是shì 在zài 耶yē路lù撒sā冷lěng 。	20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
21 耶yē穌sū 說shuō 、 婦fù人rén 、 你nǐ 當dāng 信xìn 我wǒ 、 時shí候hòu 將jiāng 到dào 、 你nǐ們men 拜bài 父fù 、 也yě 不bù在zài 這zhè 山shān上shàng 、 也yě 不bù在zài 耶yē路lù撒sā冷lěng 。	21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
22 你nǐ們men 所suǒ 拜bài 的de 、 你nǐ們men 不bù知zhī道dào ． 我wǒ們men 所suǒ 拜bài 的de 、 我wǒ們men 知zhī道dao ． 因yīn為wèi 救jiù恩ēn 是shì 從cóng 猶yóu太tài人rén 出chū來lai 的de 。	22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
23 時shí候hòu 將jiāng 到dào 、 如rú今jīn 就jiù是shì 了le 、 那nà 真zhēn正zhèng 拜bài 父fù 的de 、 要yào 用yòng心xīn 靈líng 和hé 誠chéng實shí 拜bài 他tā 、 因yīn為wèi 父fù 要yào 這zhè樣yàng 的de 人rén 拜bài 他tā 。	23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 神shén 是shì 個ge 靈líng ． 〔 或huò 無wú 個ge 字zì 〕 所suǒ以yǐ 拜bài 他tā的de 、 必bì須xū 用yòng心xīn 靈líng 和hé 誠chéng實shí 拜bài 他tā 。	24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
25 婦fù人rén 說shuō 、 我wǒ 知zhī道dao 彌mí賽sài亞yǎ 、（ 就jiù是shì 那nà 稱chēng為wéi 基jī督dū 的de ） 要yào 來lái ． 他tā 來lái 了le 、 必bì 將jiāng 一yí切qiè 的de 事shì 都dōu 告gào訴su 我wǒ們men 。	25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
26 耶yē穌sū 說shuō 、 這zhè 和hé 你nǐ 說shuō話huà 的de 就jiù是shì 他tā 。	26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
27 當dāng下xià 門mén徒tú 回huí來lai 、 就jiù 希xī奇qí 耶yē穌sū 和hé 一yī個ge 婦fù人rén 說shuō話huà ． 只zhǐ是shì 沒méi有yǒu人rén 說shuō 、 你nǐ 是shì 要yào 甚shén麼me ． 或huò 說shuō 、 你nǐ 為wèi甚shén麼me 和hé 他tā 說shuō話huà 。	27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?
28 那nà 婦fù人rén 就jiù 留liú下xià 水shuǐ罐guàn 子zǐ 、 往wǎng 城chéng裡lǐ 去qù 、 對duì 眾zhòng人rén 說shuō 、	28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,
29 你nǐ們men 來lái 看kàn 、 有yǒu 一yī個ge 人rén 將jiāng 我wǒ 素sù來lái 所suǒ 行xíng的de 一yī切qiè事shì 、 都dōu 給gěi 我wǒ 說shuō出chū 了le 、 莫mò非fēi 這zhè 就jiù是shì 基jī督dū 麼me 。	29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
30 眾zhòng人rén 就jiù 出chū城chéng 往wǎng 耶yē穌sū 那nà裡li 去qù 。	30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.
31 這zhè 其qí間jiān 、 門mén徒tú 對duì 耶yē穌sū 說shuō 、 拉lā比bǐ 、 請qǐng 喫chī 。	31 In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.
32 耶yē穌sū 說shuō 、 我wǒ 有yǒu 食shí物wù 喫chī 、 是shì 你nǐ們men 不bù知zhī道dào 的de 。	32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.
33 門mén徒tú 就jiù 彼bǐ此cǐ 對duì 問wèn 說shuō 、 莫mò非fēi 有yǒu人rén 拿ná 甚shén麼me 給gěi 他tā 喫chī 麼me 。	33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?
34 耶yē穌sū 說shuō 、 我wǒ的de 食shí物wù 就jiù是shì 遵zūn行xíng 差chāi 我wǒ 者zhě 的de 旨zhǐ意yì 、 作zuò成chéng 他tā的de 工gōng 。	34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
35 你nǐ們men 豈qǐ不bù 說shuō 、 到dào 收shōu割gē 的de時shí候hòu 、 還hái有yǒu 四sì個ge 月yuè 麼me ． 我wǒ 告gào訴su 你nǐ們men 、 舉jǔ目mù 向xiàng 田tián 觀guān看kàn 、 莊zhuāng稼jia 已yǐ經jīng 熟shóu了le 、〔 原yuán文wén 作zuò 發fā白bái 〕 可kě以yǐ 收shōu割gē 了le 。	35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
36 收shōu割gē 的de 人rén 得dé 工gōng價jià 、 積jī蓄xù 五wǔ 穀gǔ 到dào 永yǒng生shēng ． 叫jiào 撒sǎ種zhǒng 的de 和hé 收shōu割gē 的de 一yī同tóng 快kuài樂lè 。	36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
37 俗sú語yǔ 說shuō 、 那nà人rén 撒sǎ種zhǒng 、 這zhè 人rén 收shōu割gē 、 這zhè 話huà 可kě見jiàn 是shì 真zhēn的de 。	37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.
38 我wǒ 差chāi 你nǐ們men 去qù 收shōu 你nǐ們men 所suǒ 沒méi有yǒu 勞láo苦kǔ 的de ． 別bié人rén 勞láo苦kǔ 、 你nǐ們men 享xiǎng受shòu 他tā們men 所suǒ 勞láo苦kǔ 的de 。	38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.
39 那nà 城chéng裡lǐ 有yǒu 好hǎo些xiē 撒sā瑪mǎ利lì亞yǎ 人rén 信xìn 了le 耶yē穌sū 、 因yīn為wèi 那nà 婦fù人rén 作zuò 見jiàn證zhèng 說shuō 、 他tā 將jiāng 我wǒ 素sù來lái 所suǒ 行xíng的de 一yī切qiè事shì 、 都dōu 給gěi 我wǒ 說shuō出chū 來lái 了le ．	39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.
40 於yú是shì 撒sā瑪mǎ利lì亞yǎ 人rén 來lái 見jiàn 耶yē穌sū 、 求qiú 他tā 在zài 他tā們men 那nà裡li 住zhù下xià ． 他tā 便biàn 在zài那nà裡lǐ 住zhù了le 兩liǎng天tiān 。	40 So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.
41 因yīn 耶yē穌sū 的de話huà 、 信xìn 的de 人rén 就jiù 更gèng多duō 了le ．	41 And many more believed because of his own word;
42 便biàn 對duì 婦fù人rén 說shuō 、 現xiàn在zài 我wǒ們men 信xìn 、 不bù是shì 因yīn為wèi 你nǐ的de 話huà 、 是shì 我wǒ們men 親qīn自zì 聽tīng見jiàn 了le 、 知zhī道dao 這zhè 真zhēn是shì 救jiù世shì主zhǔ 。	42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.
43 過guò了le 那nà 兩liǎng天tiān 、 耶yē穌sū 離lí了le 那nà地dì方fāng 、 往wǎng 加jiā利lì利lì 去qù 。	43 Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee.
44 因yīn為wèi 耶yē穌sū 自zì己jǐ 作zuò過guò 見jiàn證zhèng 說shuō 、 先xiān知zhī 在zài 本běn地dì 是shì 沒méi有yǒu人rén 尊zūn敬jìng 的de 。	44 For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country.
45 到dào了le 加jiā利lì利lì 、 加jiā利lì 利lì人rén 既jì然rán 看kàn 他tā 在zài 耶yē路lù撒sā冷lěng 過guò節jié 所suǒ 行xíng的de 一yī切qiè事shì 、 就jiù 接jiē待dài 他tā ． 因yīn為wèi 他tā們men 也yě 是shì 上shàng去qù 過guò節jié 。	45 Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galilaeans received him, having seen all the things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast.
46 耶yē穌sū 又yòu 到dào了le 加jiā利lì利lì 的de 迦jiā 拿ná 、 就jiù是shì 他tā 從cóng前qián 變biàn 水shuǐ 為wèi 酒jiǔ 的de 地dì方fang ． 有yǒu 一yī個ge 大dà臣chén 、 他tā的de 兒ér子zi 在zài 迦jiā百bǎi農nóng 患huàn病bìng 。	46 So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum.
47 他tā 聽tīng見jiàn 耶yē穌sū 從cóng 猶yóu太tài 到dào了le 加jiā利lì利lì 、 就jiù 來lái 見jiàn 他tā 、 求qiú 他tā 下xià去qu 醫yī治zhì 他tā的de 兒ér子zi ． 因yīn為wèi 他tā 兒ér子zi 快kuài要yào 死sǐ了le 。	47 When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death.
48 耶yē穌sū 就jiù 對duì 他tā 說shuō 、 若ruò不bù 看kàn見jiàn 神shén蹟jī 奇qí事shì 、 你nǐ們men 總zǒng是shì 不bù信xìn 。	48 Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.
49 那nà 大dà臣chén 說shuō 、 先xiān生sheng 、 求qiú 你nǐ 趁chèn著zhe 我wǒ的de 孩hái子zi 還hái沒méi有yǒu 死sǐ 、 就jiù 下xià去qu 。	49 The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die.
50 耶yē穌sū 對duì 他tā 說shuō 、 回huí去qu 罷bà ． 你nǐ的de 兒ér子zi 活huó了le 。 那nà人rén 信xìn 耶yē穌sū 所suǒ 說shuō的de 話huà 、 就jiù 回huí去qu 了le 。	50 Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.
51 正zhèng 下xià去qu 的de時shí候hòu 、 他tā的de 僕pú人rén 迎yíng見jiàn 他tā 、 說shuō 他tā的de 兒ér子zi 活huó了le 。	51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth.
52 他tā 就jiù 問wèn 甚shén麼me 時shí候hòu 見jiàn好hǎo 的de 。 他tā們men 說shuō 、 昨zuó日rì 未wèi時shí 熱rè 就jiù 退tuì 了le 。	52 Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.
53 他tā 便biàn 知zhī道dao 這zhè 正zhèng是shì 耶yē穌sū 對duì 他tā 說shuō 你nǐ 兒ér子zi 活huó了le 的de時shí候hòu 、 他tā自zì己jǐ 和hé 全quán家jiā 就jiù 都dōu 信xìn 了le 。	53 So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.
54 這zhè 是shì 耶yē穌sū 在zài 加jiā利lì利lì 行xíng的de 第dì二èr 件jiàn 神shén蹟jī 、 是shì 他tā 從cóng 猶yóu太tài 回huí去qu 以yǐ後hòu 行xíng的de 。	54 This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judaea into Galilee.
