| 羅馬書第十三 章 |
Romans 13 |
| 1 在 上 有權柄 的 、 人人 當 順服 他 ． 因為 沒有 權柄 不是 出於 神 的 ． 凡 掌權 的 都 是 神 所 命 的 。 |
1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. |
| 2 所以 抗拒 掌權 的 、 就是 抗拒 神 的 命 ． 抗拒 的 必 自取 刑罰 。 |
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. |
| 3 作官 的 原 不是 叫 行善 的 懼怕 、 乃是 叫作 惡 的 懼怕 。 你 願意 不懼 怕 掌權 的 麼 ． 你 只 要 行善 、 就 可 得 他的 稱讚 ． |
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: |
| 4 因為 他 是 神 的 用人 、 是 與 你 有益 的 。 你 若 作惡 、 卻 當 懼怕 ． 因為 他 不是 空空 的 佩劍 ． 他 是 神 的 用人 、 是 伸冤 的 、 刑罰 那 作惡 的 。 |
4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. |
| 5 所以 你們 必須 順服 、 不但 是 因為 刑罰 、 也 是 因為 良心 。 |
5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. |
| 6 你們 納 糧 、 也 為 這個 緣故 ． 因 他們 是 神 的 差役 、 常常 特 管 這 事 。 |
6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. |
| 7 凡人 所當 得 的 、 就 給 他 ． 當 得 糧 的 、 給 他 納 糧 ． 當 得 稅 的 、 給 他 上稅 ． 當 懼怕 的 、 懼怕 他 ． 當 恭敬 的 、 恭敬 他 。 |
7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. |
| 8 凡事 都 不可 虧欠 人 、 惟有 彼此 相愛 、 要 常以 為 虧欠 ． 因為 愛人 的 就 完全 了 律法 。 |
8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. |
| 9 像 那 不可 姦淫 、 不可 殺人 、 不可 偷盜 、 不可 貪婪 、 或 有 別的 誡命 、 都 包在 愛人如己 這 一句話 之內 了 。 |
9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. |
| 10 愛 是 不加 害 與 人 的 、 所以 愛 就 完全 了 律法 。 |
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. |
| 11 再者 、 你們 曉得 現今 就是 該 趁早 睡醒 的時候 、 因為 我們 得救 、 現今 比 初 信 的時候 更 近 了 。 |
11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. |
| 12 黑夜 已深 、 白晝 將近 ． 我們 就 當 脫去 暗昧 的 行為 、 帶上 光明 的 兵器 。 |
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. |
| 13 行事 為 人 要 端正 、 好像 行 在 白晝 ． 不可 荒 宴 醉酒 ． 不可 好色 邪 蕩 ． 不可 爭 競 嫉妒 。 |
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. |
| 14 總要 披 戴 主 耶穌基督 、 不要 為 肉體 安排 、 去 放縱 私 慾 。 |
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. |
