提tí多duō書shū第dì一yī章zhāng	Titus 1
1 神shén 的de 僕pú人rén 、 耶yē穌sū基jī督dū 的de 使shǐ徒tú 保bǎo羅luó 、 憑píng著zhe 神shén 選xuǎn民mín 的de 信xìn心xīn 、 與yú 敬jìng 虔qián 真zhēn理lǐ 的de 知zhī識shi 、	1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
2 盼pàn望wàng 那nà 無wú 謊huǎng言yán 的de 神shén 、 在zài 萬wàn古gǔ 之zhī 先xiān 所suǒ 應yìng許xǔ 的de 永yǒng生shēng 、	2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
3 到dào了le 日rì期qī 、 藉jiè著zhe 傳chuán揚yáng 的de 工gōng夫fu 、 把bǎ 他tā的de 道dào 顯xiǎn明míng 了le ． 這zhè 傳chuán揚yáng 的de 責zé任rèn 、 是shì 按àn著zhe 神shén 我wǒ們men 救jiù主zhǔ 的de 命mìng令lìng 交jiāo 託tuō 了le 我wǒ 。	3 But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;
4 現xiàn在zài 寫xiě信xìn給gěi 提tí 多duō 、 就jiù是shì 照zhào著zhe 我wǒ們men 共gòng 信xìn 之zhī道dào 作zuò 我wǒ 真zhēn 兒ér子zi 的de ． 願yuàn 恩ēn惠huì 平píng安ān 、 從cóng 父fù神shén 和hé 我wǒ們men 的de 救jiù主zhǔ 基jī督dū 耶yē穌sū 歸guī 與yú 你nǐ 。	4 To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.
5 我wǒ 從cóng前qián 留liú 你nǐ 在zài 革gé 哩lī 底dǐ 、 是shì 要yào 你nǐ 將jiāng 那nà 沒méi有yǒu 辦bàn完wán 的de 事shì 都dōu 辦bàn 整zhěng齊qí 了le 、 又yòu 照zhào 我wǒ 所suǒ 吩fēn咐fù 你nǐ的de 、 在zài 各gè 城chéng 設shè立lì 長zhǎng老lǎo ．	5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
6 若ruò有yǒu 無wú可kě指zhǐ責zé 的de 人rén 、 只zhǐ 作zuò 一yī個ge 婦fù人rén 的de 丈zhàng夫fu 、 兒ér女nǚ 也yě 是shì 信xìn 主zhǔ 的de 、 沒méi有yǒu人rén 告gào 他tā們men 是shì 放fàng蕩dàng 不bù服fú 約yuē束shù 的de 、 就jiù 可kě以yǐ 設shè立lì 。	6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.
7 監jiān督dū 既jì是shì 神shén 的de 管guǎn家jiā 、 必bì須xū 無wú可kě指zhǐ責zé 、 不bù 任rèn性xìng 、 不bù 暴bào躁zào 、 不bù 因yīn 酒jiǔ 滋zī事shì 、 不bù 打dǎ人rén 、 不bù 貪tān 無wú義yì 之zhī財cái 、	7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
8 樂lè意yì 接jiē待dài 遠yuǎn 人rén 、 好hǎo 善shàn 、 莊zhuāng重zhòng 、 公gōng平píng 、 聖shèng潔jié 、 自zì持chí ．	8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
9 堅jiān守shǒu 所suǒ 教jiào 真zhēn實shí 的de 道dào理lǐ 、 就jiù 能néng 將jiāng 純chún正zhèng 的de 教jiào訓xun 勸quàn 化huà 人rén ． 又yòu 能néng 把bǎ 爭zhēng辯biàn 的de 人rén 駁bó倒dǎo 了le 。	9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
10 因yīn為wèi 有yǒu 許xǔ多duō 人rén 不bù服fú 約yuē束shù 、 說shuō 虛xū空kōng 話huà 、 欺qī哄hōng 人rén ． 那nà 奉fèng 割gē禮lǐ 的de 、 更gèng是shì這zhè樣yàng 。	10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
11 這zhè些xie 人rén 的de 口kǒu 總zǒng要yào 堵dǔ住zhù ． 他tā們men 因yīn 貪tān 不bù義yì之zhī財cái 、 將jiāng 不bù該gāi 教jiào導dǎo 的de 教jiào導dǎo 人rén 、 敗bài壞huài 人rén 的de 全quán家jiā 。	11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
12 有yǒu 革gé 哩lī 底dǐ 人rén中zhōng 的de 一yī個ge 本běn地dì 先xiān知zhī 說shuō 、『 革gé 埋mái 底dǐ 人rén 常cháng說shuō 謊huǎng話huà 、 乃nǎi是shì 惡è 獸shòu 、 又yòu 饞chán 又yòu 懶lǎn ． 』	12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
13 這zhè個gè 見jiàn證zhèng 是shì 真zhēn的de 。 所suǒ以yǐ 你nǐ 要yào 嚴yán 嚴yán 的de 責zé備bèi 他tā們men 、 使shǐ 他tā們men 在zài 真zhēn 道dào上shàng 純chún 全quán無wú 疵cī ．	13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
14 不bù 聽tīng 猶yóu太tài人rén 荒huāng 渺miǎo 的de 言yán語yǔ 、 和hé 離lí棄qì 真zhēn 道dào 之zhī 人rén 的de 誡jiè命mìng 。	14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
15 在zài 潔jié淨jìng 的de 人rén 、 凡fán 物wù 都dōu 潔jié淨jìng ． 在zài 污wū穢huì 不bù信xìn 的de 人rén 、 甚shén麼me 都dōu 不bù潔jié淨jìng ． 連lián心xīn 地de 和hé 天tiān良liáng 、 也yě 都dōu 污wū穢huì 了le 。	15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
16 他tā們men 說shuō是shì 認rèn識shi 神shén 、 行xíng事shì 卻què 和hé 他tā 相xiāng背bèi ． 本běn 是shì 可kě憎zēng 惡è 的de 、 是shì 悖bèi逆nì 的de 、 在zài 各gè樣yàng 的de 善shàn事shì 上shàng 是shì 可kě 廢fèi棄qì 的de 。	16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
