Converted Chinese Web page will appear here.

Set-up

The first time you use this tool, you will need to do some set up steps.

Directions

This tool will convert a web page from the original encoding (GB, Big5, Unicode, etc.) to another encoding that you select. This means you can make a web page in traditional characters into one that uses simplified characters. You can type a web address into the input field above or select one of the other Chinese web addresses (including CND and the Voice of America) and select the encoding to convert to. Once you've typed in the address click on the "Convert" button to start the process. Please wait a few moments while it downloads and converts the file.

Problems?

If you select a web page and it does not appear, then you can try these steps.
